7 Things About Me

with 2 comments

Benjamin, author of The Bass Guitar Blog, tagged me in his post 7 Things About Me… And You? because he wants to know more about me, and I will give you seven things about me, but I will not tag anyone else. Sorry.

I believe that

  • “we are what we share,” as Charles Leadbeater says. (read here)
  • “you gotta know the rules, if you wanna break them,” as my friend T.M. Stevens once told me.
  • “The choice is between multiplication of results using strengths or incremental improvement fixing weaknesses that will, at best, become mediocre. Focus on better use of your best weapons instead of constant repair.” — Tim Ferriss, author of the 4-hour workweek. (read here)
  • Ted Nicholas is right when he says “You simply cannot succeed in a big way unless your work is fun for you.” (read here)
  • the definition of music ownership (and the transfer of ownership) is outdated. It doesn’t fit the Net Generation. (read here)
  • [I]t has nothing to do with knowing how the trick is done, and everything to do with the art of doing it.  … The art is the difficult part.” – Seth Godin, author of Tribes. (read here)
  • as industries become decentralized, overall profits decrease. Best example: the music industry. (read here)
